Epoxy Floor Coating

StaticSmart ESD Epoxy
Supreme durability with superior ESD protection

StaticSmart ESD Epoxy Flooring provides supreme durability in a seamless, nonporous, easy-to-clean surface. This unique system of 100% solids epoxy carbon-base polymer and electrically conductive aggregate core is designed for the most demanding electronics manufacturing and assembly requirements, including areas with motorized traffic.

With three times the load-carrying capacity of concrete, the StaticSmart Load-Max E9000 ESD epoxy maintains its appearance longer and in tougher conditions than any other flooring material. The floor's wear-resistant surface is impervious to scuff marks and stains, requiring only a damp mop to maintain the floor's high gloss shine. Ideal for areas with motorized traffic, the StaticSmart epoxy floor features superior abrasion resistance, durability and hardness. Also protects against a variety of acids, alkalis and solvents.

  • Seamless

Integrated tri-layer construction forms a redundant conductive network with millions of paths to ground.

Thicker than standard coatings, the 3 integrated electrically conductive layers in the StaticSmart ESD resin form a conductive network within a highly impact-resistant floor. Each layer contains stable, electrically conductive inert elements that provide consistent ESD protection that's unaffected by moisture and humidity.

Physical Properties
Base Layer
The base layer consists of a 100% conductive solids epoxy polymer, forming a highly conductive ground plane. This ground plane provides the foundation for the floor's electrically conductive network.
Core Layer
The core layer is composed of an extremely hard aggregate that's permanently embedded into the base layer, further increasing the floor's overall strength. Within this aggregate mixture are virtually indestructible, electrically conductive carbide bits. With 14,400 carbide bits per square foot, the core layer provides millions of paths to ground, resulting in consistent ESD protection, while eliminating the risk of nonconductive voids.

The Protective Top Layer
The protective top layer contains a conductive matrix that's suspended within 100% solids polymer. This clear conductive top layer provides a seamless, high gloss wear surface with superior abrasion and chemical resistance.
